About The Norwegian Veterinary Association The Norwegian Veterinary Association (DNV) holds the position both as a professional association and as a trade union for Norwegian veterinarians. The main aims of the Norwegian Veterinary Association are to secure the professional, social and financial interests of our members. We strive for high professional, scientific and academic standard in veterinary education, both at the universities and in the continuing veterinary education. Approximately 90 % of the veterinarians in Norway are members of the Norwegian Veterinary Association. Persons with a veterinary degree and veterinary students are eligible for membership in the Norwegian Veterinary Association.
