ISD Immunotech is developing STING modulators to treat severe Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) or Lupus by targeting the STING pathway. SLE is a complex and devastating autoimmune disease with few to no good options for treatment especially for the most severe patients. STimulator of INterferon Gene (STING) is a target that controls innate immunity and has shown to be overactive in severe SLE making it an exciting new therapeutic target for SLE.
