Harbour Dance Studios Inc. (formerly Harbour Dancentre Inc.) is a professional dance instruction studio in downtown Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada. We offer professional grade instruction in ballet, pointe, modern, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, musical theatre, strength and balance, flamenco, and other styles. We follow the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus for ballet and the Canadian Dance Teachers Association syllabus for tap and jazz. Our faculty are accredited, professional, and experienced teachers. We offer a recreational dance program for dancers of any age who are interested in pursuing their passion for dance. We have a competitive program for dancers interested in competing and taking exams, and a full day dance / academic program for dancers interested in a career in dance. Our academic partner is Navigate (SD71), a leader in distance learning. Navigate has 1.5 teachers attending the studio every day who oversee the academic portion of the program.
