Founded in 2018, Washington University in St. Louis China Forum is one of the leading student-run organizations in North America that focus on intellectual discussions on China. We have worked with experts from some of the world’s best think tanks and educational institutions, such the Brookings Institution, the Grandview Institution, Peking University, Tsinghua University and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, to serve as a resource for future leaders of all backgrounds and nationalities wishing to engage China’s emergence as a rising economic force on the global stage. Our organization’s goal is to promote a more nuanced understanding of China and Asia, allowing more students to encounter new perspectives beyond the binary world view of East-versus-West.
