Vision : Al Sawt al Hurr believes in Freedom of Expression and High Quality Journalism as a catalyst for human development. It is at the core of all social and political processes and a necessary precondition for democratization. It is our vision that all Arab people will have a better life in the future. Human dignity, equality and development are hugely aided through quality information dissemination. Besides this, access to information is a basic human right. Mission: With its years of experience in the field, Al Sawt al Hurr contributes to Freedom of Expression and Journalistic Quality in the MENA region, bringing reliable information closer to the people. Through extensive networking, training, support and other activities, we aim at widening the space for free expression in the Arab world and work on strengthening the journalistic sector in terms of quality and sustainability. Added Value We have established links with media organizations, individual journalists, media support organizations and many others throughout the region and the world. Based in Cairo, the organization has a strong Arab root. Our training programs are comprehensive, inclusive and high-end. We excel in training sequences, since we believe in its added value in comparison to stand alone training projects.
