We believe in education as a key enabler of global peace, with the basic premise that education can be delivered to everyone. Consequently, we envision Turkish Education as a vehicle to promote strong bonds between nations, welcoming global citizens to study in our country; we care about contributing towards the students’ integral formation whilst we advocate for the international cooperation and intercultural dialogues. We believe that the Turkish Universities are a better place to study and to make big differences in the world. The mission of the Turkish Education Center is to promote the programs of Turkish universities in a global context, to amplify its international presence and encourage students to choose these institutions for their formation and learning careers. We seek to develop strategies for dissemination and promotion of the Turkish institutions’ curricula with interested students. In order to accomplish our mission, we have set the following goals: By the year 2020, the Turkish Education Center will be acknowledged as a special organism within the Turkish higher education industry, and recognised as a prominent representative of the internationalisation of the Turkish universities, resulting in the revenue growth of the international education market in Turkey. By the year 2023, the number of international students in Turkey will be increased by 50%. By the year 2025, higher education institutions in Turkey will stand in the highest positions of the global universities rankings. Accordingly, Turkey will be one of the 10 best countries to study abroad.
