Established in 1981, Hospice of Yuma is committed to providing compassionate care for Yuma County residents who are in need of quality end-of-life services. It is our vision to develop, enhance, and expand hospice and palliative care services in the Yuma area. Hospice of Yuma is known for providing state-of-the-art medical care, as well as emotional and spiritual support tailored to our patients and their families needs , including: - A Physician and Nurse who make regular rounds to check on patient, document any changes, and provide care and symptom management as needed. - Medications & Medical Equipment needed for patient care. - Certified Nurse Assistants who attend to patients personal care needs. -Social Workers to listen and guide a patient and their family through any concerns or needs during the end-of-life process - Chaplains to offer spiritual support and lend a sympathetic ear. Hospice of Yuma also provides a wide-array of Bereavement & Community Services that are made available to patient caregivers and families as well as the general public.
