Auptix is a funding platform for the production of film/TV content. Auptix is not a blind pool fund – Auptix already controls significant IP (including scripts at a high level of development) that will form the basis for some or all initial Auptix productions. The core content types Auptix focuses on are Action-thriller, Sci-fi, Fantasy, Drama, and Comedy. The principal users of the Auptix funding platform will be Auptix itself, other producers, strategic investors, co-funders, IP owners, content distributors, and rights participants – with each achieving significant creative and financial benefits. Auptix plans to operate in a “Netflix” model – i.e., with no need to own a purpose-built studio, sound stages, post facilities, or equipment. Auptix’ distribution focus – also similar to Netflix, Amazon and others – is aimed at OTT video streaming, while extending to legacy theatrical distribution outlets when prudent.
