Felger Hart, Inc
www.felgerhart.comFelger Hart began over 30 years ago with a common theme: Hard work and dedication. These ethics are what caused Jim Felger and Doug Hart to begin a journey that would create an organization built on solid principles. With the backing of a few dedicated customers, Felger Hart began with 2 old trucks and a home based office in Jim’s home. Barb Felger (Jim’s wife) agreed to keep all of the company’s books in order and provide oversight of the organizations efforts. While working in a service department Jim Felger dedicated his life to Jesus Christ. It is from that point that God gave him a heart for others and he committed to telling others about his change. Both Jim and Barb ensured that a portion of their income was dedicated to Christ-centered organizations which still continues to this day. Jim followed a simple rule; trust God. He says “We don’t ever want to go in debt by borrowing money. God always provided for us and the company at just the right time.” Amazingly, this belief still holds true today. Eventually Jim and Barb’s two boys (PJ and Tom) joined the company. This was a vision the Felger family had from the start. Jim credits God, once again, for seeing this plan through. In 2008, PJ and Tom bought out Doug Hart and took the reins of the company. Today, both PJ and Tom operate the organization their father built. They hold to the same beliefs and morals given to them at an early age. Treat customers with dignity and respect while providing top notch service. As their parents did, the boys carry on the belief that all money is God’s money. He has entrusted us with it for the benefit of others. This understanding causes FHI to create a culture of generosity and philanthropy.
