Founded in 2010 as a gemological laboratory and appraisal company, The Rutile Ltd was revitalized during the 2020 pandemic by Rebecca Ison, a Graduate Gemologist and her amazing partner, Jamie McIntosh. The Rutile focuses on the science of the gemstones and prides themselves on clients receiving full disclosure on the gemstones they're buying, from treatments and localities, to proper cleaning and care techniques, something sorely missing in most mainstream jewelry companies. The Rutile loves creating custom designed pieces and special orders.
