The New School is a charity that supports an emerging alternative model of education. Building on research outcomes that indicate a democratic model is one that can meet the needs of all young people - particularly those who are marginalised in the current education system - we are using 'in-action' social research to generate our own outcomes. We believe democratic schooling promotes social justice and equity in education, and we will share our outcomes to create a wider conversation about education in the UK. We believe that education can, and should, be at the forefront of promoting social change.
