Warwick Congress is a student-run careers society targeted at students from all backgrounds and interests. We unite the disciplines of Finance, Economics, Law, and Politics, providing our members an inter-disciplinary approach to understanding our world. Our team includes highly ambitious and motivated students who have bought the above principles alive through our annual flagship conference, #WarCon. This was our first conference that took place on the February of 2017 and focussed on topics such as Environment, Technology, and Europe. At the conference, 12 high calibre speakers such as Sir Vince Cable (Leader of the Liberal Democrats and Former Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills), Simon Levin (co-CEO of DLA Piper), and Tony Cocker (CEO of E.ON) brought insight to these contentious issues. The tradition of inviting highly distinguished speakers has continued throughout the years as we have welcomed Diana Wallis, Leo Evans, Ian West, and many more influential panelists. Our theme for WarCon2022 is ''The Roaring 20's'' which will analyze the impact of one of the most unprecedented year of our times.
