Sharp Academy teaches coding classes to people living in Bucharest who want to change their job, either start a freelance career or simply want to learn something new. Our classes start from a beginner and advance to intermediate level. Our main objective is to help people understand programming concepts and grow their analytical thinking, then help them acquire the necessary skills for an entry level job in Romanian IT industry. Our secondary objective is to build a community of people willing to learn more from each other and willing to evolve personally and professionally by teaching others. Part of our trainers are former students who want to strengthen their skills and give back to the organization who helped them on their way. So far we teached classes based on Microsoft technology, but we plan to expand our courses portofolio to other programming languages in the next year. Our trainees are between 20-35 y.o., have middle/superior studies and living and working in Bucharest. We promote a supportive, free of discrimination environment where everybody can be taught and teach back.
