In Italy and internationally, Prescott Studio manages the titling system in all its aspects, as a profession of language mediation for the performing arts. Since 1996, the company has featured projected titles for live performances, a resource offered to the audience of opera and drama, that combines high competence with popular demands and whose most widely accepted form is technically known as «surtitles», now integrated also into multilingual devices (cabled or wireless). Si occupa cioè, dal 1996, di titolazione teatrale: un servizio che unisce esigenze divulgative a rigore scientifico, rivolto al pubblico che frequenta i teatri d’opera o di prosa e la cui variante tecnica più conosciuta (integrabile a monitor cablati o a dispositivi wireless multilingua) va sotto il nome di «sopratitoli».
