The Edinburgh University Chemical Engineering Society is exceptionally prominent and engaging, allowing Chemical Engineering students to participate in social and sporting events alike throughout the year. The society aims to bridge the gap between industry and academia. We organise a number of events and provide vital links with industry. Members of our society have opportunities to meet with professionals from a wide range of industries through talks and networking events run by the society. We take pride in the fact that our society is a platform for career guidance, networking and social events among Chemical Engineers, where we actively encourage members to seek internships, placements and eventually careers within industry and academia.
