We believe everyone with cancer should have access, from diagnosis, to complementary therapies that enhance their wellbeing and keep them in control of their journey. Our dedicated team of over 70 volunteers enables us to offer one to one treatments of acupuncture, massage, and reflexology and run group courses of mindfulness, yoga and tai chi for cancer patients. The first two treatments are free of charge and everything thereafter is donation based, making it affordable and accessible for everyone. Complementary therapy can make the cancer journey easier by encouraging relaxation, reducing stress and alleviating some of the side affects of cancer treatment, such as hot flushes, pain and nausea.
