Verifier commenced operations initially to service a dire need in the community of which Mike Voortman was Crime Watch chairman. From relatively humble beginnings Verifier has grown into a significant operation. With an ingenious use of technology, Management and Market Research Solutions have recently been added to the product offering. Verifier is managed by Mike Voortman and James Deary, both UCT graduates, with B.Comm (information Systems) and B.Com (Hons) Financial Management degrees respectively. They have significant previous business experience, including retail, the service industry, IT and property development. Verifier retains the services of a dedicated IT staff, considered key in this hi-tech environment.
