The Norwegian Institute of Emotion Focused Therapy (NIEFT) provides training and research on Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and Emotion focused Skills Training (EFST). Our aim is to promote Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing through therapy, research and the dissemination of psychological knowledge. Our next big event is EMOTION REVOLUTION 2021 - the world’s most important congress on Emotions and Experiential Therapy! Join us in Bergen, Norway April 27-30th in 2021 to learn from the most influential voices in the field, as they meet in search of common ground for Emotions in psychotherapy: Leslie Greenberg, Allan Abbass, Nancy McWilliams, Bruce Ecker, and more to be announced. We collaborate with Leslie Greenberg, the founder of EFT, and his associates from York University in Toronto, Canada. The Norwegian Institute of Emotion Focused Therapy (NIEFT) is an official Training Institute for EFT recognized by the International Society of Emotion-focused Therapy (isEFT).
