We are an investor funded Boston-based health technology company that solves inefficiency from last-minute dental cancellations by matching with patients seeking more convenient appointments -that they can actually keep. Over 114 million dental appointments are cancelled and unfilled annually, resulting in $11.4 billion in lost revenue for dental clinics. Other companies have begun tackling the no-show issue by sending reminders, but this has been entirely insufficient at putting a dent in cancellations (it's actually increased them). At EarlierCare, we have developed a live-sync scheduling system and a patient smartphone app which employs our proprietary matching algorithm to help new or existing patients book vacant appointments created by last minute cancellations. Patients can search for open spots based on their insurance and location and get push notifications for new openings as they materialize. As a result, we are increasing clinic revenue while meeting urgent demand or convenience of patients.
