ECHO PROJECT
www.echovn.orgECHO Project is an independent project founded in 2016. Our main goal is to provide classes, workshops and programs that can inspire Vietnamese youth to grow confidently as Global citizens. At ECHO, we believe that every single one of us is different, every single one of us has something we are good at, something special. We believe that if young people are given the opportunities to enhance their language skills, to equip themselves with life skills and to be engaged in a values-based and actions-based environment, they will be able to develop themselves and fulfill their potential. As a result, they can approach more opportunities to study, to work and to succeed, while driving the world towards economically, socially and environmentally advantageous ends. Since 2016, we have engaged 53 volunteers to provide 14 free English classes for over 180 underprivileged children (aged from 6 to 18 years old) living in Ho Chi Minh city; organize a science fair in 2017, an exchange program in 2018; and host more than 50 workshops for over 600 participants (aged from 6 to 30 years old). We also produce videos focusing on English pronunciation and grammar. In 2021, we aim to launch our first online multi-language course for people between the ages of 16 and 30 years old, to raise awareness and increase acceptance of cultural diversity, along with our train-the-trainer workshops with topics focused on career orientation, digital literacy, sustainable development, social innovation and entrepreneurship.
