Future Industry Leaders Programme (FILP) Network
www.filp.co.ukThe Future Industry Leaders Programme (FILP) Network comprises of those who have attended or been involved with the Future Industry Leaders Programme. The unique cross energy industry leadership programme is designed to develop and equip leaders to improve the energy industry performance as we transition towards a lower-carbon energy future at a time where confident leadership is needed more than ever. More than 160 leaders have completed FILP so far, many of whom are helping shape the industry. As a network of alumni we organise events to engage with key figures and bodies across the energy industry, actively participating in initiatives and activities with numerous organisations. We are keen to take up any opportunities to support those in the energy industry, the energy transition or attracting the future leaders to the industry. The Mission Statement of the network is: "To develop a network of diverse and compassionate leaders who can inspire and influence the successful delivery of our energy industry's sustainable transition to a net zero future, through thoughtful engagement at all levels of our industry and with wider society." The stated aims of the network are to: • Ask each other what we need and where we can help promote the well-being of the network through active participation • Share and learn from each other’s experiences • Be Ambassadors for our industry • Create development and mentoring opportunities • Disseminate information and influence decision making in our organisations with the intention of making a wider industry impact The committee will measure success by the: • Growth of an active network • Visibility and participation of the network at events etc • Recognition by industry of the value of engagement with FILP • The number of visible small changes resulting from FILP.
