Academy is for novice, junior, high school and Olympic level wrestlers wanting a personalized, program focusing on their individualized needs, with the goal of helping them improve in specific areas that will result in them winning more matches during actual competition. My program is geared for results. The core of my program is teaching perfect technique and I believe executing perfect technique wins matches. Guaranteed. I teach all technique in an orderly system and progression so that each wrestler will be able to learn not only the maneuver but the individual, step-by-step mechanics of the maneuver so the wrestler will understand why the move works, including the counter to the maneuver. My vast experience as a multiple time world champion wrestler and coach of our nation’s elite Olympic athletes, uniquely positions my academy as one of the best wrestling facilities in the nation. I focus on Wrestling Technique, Drilling & Live Wrestling, Conditioning, Proper Bio-Mechanics, Flexibility Training, Nutrition, Strategy, and the Psychology of Winning - necessary for success on the mat. Our program would not be complete without Character training and development, because my goal to help shape our athletes for future success beyond wrestling.
