In 2017, the two brothers Adrian Hess and Sebastian Godenzi had the idea of producing lamps using 3D printing technology. They developed a base (KIT) that can be used for a wide variety of different types of lamps. The KIT contains all the necessary components such as illuminants, cables and connection terminals. The body of the light can be designed individually and personally by the customer or selected from one of the designed families. He can then produce it using his own printer or have it produced via the 3D printer network. The idea is to develop locally and produce locally at the place of use. The product is ecological, recyclable and even industrially compostable.
