Raremink is the film production team of Finley and Morgan Wise–two brothers with two distinct minds and one rather singular purpose: filmmaking with vision, intelligence and a massive, swirling hot tub full of soul. To put it another way, we conceptualize, produce, and direct original film productions. From music videos and commercial spots to feature films, we’d like to think of ourselves as having an innate passion for new ideas, well-told stories, and positive collaboration. Morgan’s background in cinema extends from NYU’s Tisch School of Arts to the Art Center: College of Design. Finley’s experience has taken him from UC: Berkeley, where he majored in legal studies, Spanish and the films of the French New Wave, to Spain, where he studied at the Universitat de Barcelona. Raremink’s film productions include music videos for Primus, Collie Buddz, D.Willz, Walter Meego, Del, Bye Bye Bicycle, and Art Brut, among others. Our commercial work encompasses spots for brands such as Allstate, Volkswagen, Audi, and Sunny Delight. We have twice won MTVU’s ‘Best Freshman’ award for our music videos, and have been featured on MTV, MTV2, VH1, BET, and the IFC Film Channel. Raremink is currently in development on our feature project, Western Addition, which was awarded the Kenneth Rainin Foundation Grant for Screenwriting by the San Francisco Film Society.
