Fuchs Schmitt was founded in 1967 by the entrepreneurs Paul Fuchs and Hans Schmitt, who laid the foundation for our ongoing success story with sound knowledge and drive. Mr. Udo Ullerich managed the company until his well-deserved retirement in April 2020. Since then, Mrs Andrea Krumme, the new head of Fuchs & Schmitt continues the good cooperation with the MV Unternehmensgruppe GmbH & Co.KG in Lingen, to which the company Fuchs Schmitt belongs. In 1998, Fuchs & Schmitt GmbH & Co. KG was awarded with the international fashion marketing prize of the IGEDO Company for high product innovation, fashion competence and consistent brand policy. For 15 years, the fox’s head has been a key visual in the collection and brand identity. The Fuchs Schmitt brand can be found at all leading clothing stores, chain stores and corporations as well as well-known mail order companies worldwide. A team of designers and pattern makers creates two collections a year, each comprising around 300 pieces. The head office in Aschaffenburg employs 100 people, the company has been training apprentices for many decades and received an award from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in 2014.
