The Green Business Forum was initiated in 1998 to provide free help to local businesses in the Basildon and Thurrock boroughs on environmental matters such as resource efficiency, energy reduction, waste reduction, increased recycling etc. The help is free because Basildon and Thurrock Councils provide the funding. Originally we were the Basildon Green Business Forum but now Thurrock Council have teamed up with Basildon we now use the name "Green Business Forum". Some will call us the Basildon GBF and others the Thurrock BGF but whatever you call us, we will still provide a free service!! Our aim is to make your business more efficient, more profitable and win more orders through being "green". There is no catch, this is truly a free service to local businesses.
