www.cres-sn.orgThe CRES is a research center created in 2004 by a group of teacher-researchers of the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar (UCAD). The aim of the institution is to promote quantitative research that can equip policy makers, local authorities and civil society organisations in the formulation and implementation of social and economic development policies, both at national and regional level. The CRES conducts studies, usually at the request of central and decentralised government, cooperation bodies and Ngos. These studies are a preferred way of strengthening the capacities of administrative officers, thus contributing to decision-making.
