Connacht Rugby is an Irish professional rugby union team based in The Sportsground, Galway that competes in the United Rugby Championship & European Challenge Cup competitions. Connacht is one of four provinces in Ireland playing professional rugby. The Connacht Rugby Academy is also based here where young elite players are coached with the intention of breaking into the professional squad.
