Biomentorhub is an online platform with the following objectives: – to connect young students interested to identify study programs and perform research in biosciences and medicine, with mentors with academic and research experience in these fields of study. – to support specialists from the Romanian diaspora who have research experience in biosciences and medicine, and are interested to find professional and collaboration opportunities in Romania, by identifying mentors from the academic, governmental and industry sectors, who can offer them guidance. Biomentorhub is a volunteer-based initiative, made possible by a team of enthusiastic young professionals from Timișoara, who believe in the value of mentorship and consider that this can have a determining role in the career and personal development of youth and also in supporting specialists from the Romanian diaspora to find or create professional opportunities in Romania. By offering support to current and future generations of researchers and specialists in these fields of study, Biomentorhub will catalyze the development of bioscience and medicine research in Romania, and not only. By promoting collaboration and communication between experienced specialists and creative high-potential youth, Biomentorhub will facilitate innovative projects in bioscience and medicine with extensive impact.
