The American Conference of Academic Deans (ACAD) is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting academic administrators. ACAD members are current and former deans, provosts, academic vice presidents, associate and assistant deans, and other academic leaders from over 500 two-year and four-year colleges and universities across the country. For more than 70 years the American Conference of Academic Deans (ACAD) has been a place for academic administrators to connect and engage in conversations about their work in the Academy. At its core, ACAD is about building relationships and encouraging colleagues to support one another in their work. Administration can be hard, lonely work and ACAD is there to bring folks together to provide the support and resources you need to be at your best.
