Red Ruin Entertainment was established in 2018 by Welsh filmmakers Ian Smyth and Rhys Lewis. We specialize in the production of feature films primarily in the horror genre, with a view to distribution to VOD platforms and/or physical releases. As of November 2021, Red Ruin is in pre-production for our first feature, supernatural horror Black Mountain, set in early 19th century rural Wales. But we're in this for the long game, and have a slate of exciting and varied genre scripts ready to go once Black Mountain is underway.
