Art at a Time Like This is a virtual institution, and platform for free expression founded by Anne Verhallen and Barbara Pollack. 'How Can You Think of Art at a Time Like This?' is an ongoing online exhibition on the platform co-curated by Verhallen and Pollack, in direct response to the COVID-19 Crisis. The show consists of artists who are considered thought leaders, artists who struggle with futuristic pessimism, political outrage, and psychic melt-downs. The invited artists have responded with unbridled enthusiasm and the platform will be posting new artists every day for the foreseeable future. Some of the included artists are: Laurie Simmons, Ai Weiwei, Marilyn Minter, Jacolby Satterwhite, Mickalene Thomas, Alfredo Jaar, Meriem Bennani, Mel Chin, Judith Bernstein, amongst others
