MOORHEAD BUSINESS ASSOCIATION MBA is a business advocacy network with 340+ businesses and non-profits we serve in Moorhead and surrounding areas. Our members stretch from Bismarck to Bemidji. When you sign up as a member you get the MBA staff on your team, on your team. This means sharing your social media, supporting events, and as always referrals. We encourage our members to spend local and support those who support us. MBA meets weekly for our “Let’s talk business” meeting sharing the story of local owners and managers currently Wed at Noon at the Moorhead American Legion. Once per month we also host an evening networking event called 560Connect. These are hosted at businesses after hours to show off your space in a laid-back atmosphere. We are also involved in Greater Moorhead Days, Holiday Parade, Moorhead 4th of July fireworks, Diversity Job fair, bridge bash, facilitate the Moorhead Alliance of non-profits, as well as support our businesses in putting of events for Frostival, Moorhead Cruise Night and so much more! Our primary focus is not simply events but to advocate for business to the city and county. In the past months much of our focus has been on helping businesses apply for PPP loans, get out info on Moorhead cares and clay county cares money. Looking forward we will continue to keep our members up to date on regulations and requirements as they continue to shift. We have close relationships with the City, city council, state, and local representatives to better serve our businesses.
