A community foundation servicing the inner northern Melbourne municipalities of Darebin, Moreland and Yarra. At the moment the key focus of the Inner North Community Foundation is on providing grants relating to pathways to employment for the most disadvantaged and marginalised members of our community. As at August 2014 we have distributed more than $1,400,000 to local eligible charitable organisations. Our next major grant round will be March - May 2015. We’re a permanent funding source to the community as donations are pooled and invested in perpetuity to create funds for our annual grants programs. The Inner North Community Foundation aims to promote philanthropy at all levels of giving. We can support donor needs and concerns through the setting up of named (or subfunds) which can direct their giving to a specific cause, issue or charitable organisation.
