DSA Consulting Services Pty Ltd was set up in 1994 as a general consulting business with specialisation's in sport business and finance and accounting. It is owned and operated by its two principals Dr Dave Arthur who runs the sport side (Sport Business Resources) and Ms Selena Arthur who is responsible for the finance and accounting aspects of the business as well as operating as the Company Secretary. During its near twenty years of operation DSA has acquired a diverse range of clients ranging from local government organisations (including for example, Lismore City Council, Gosford City Council, Tweed Shire Council) and retail and clothing businesses (including Coachcap, Laneway Labels). The company also operates an innovative evaluation service that is utilised by organisations throughout Australia. Sport Business Resources is a subsidiary of DSA and is a general sport business consultancy that provides full menu services for a range of profit and not for profit organisations in services ranging from consulting, business and marketing strategy formulation, policy development, sponsorship and event evaluation.
