I'm Derrick Brooks and my foundation believes deeply in throwing the rope back. Our primary area is the Tampa Bay Community. We inspire youth toward a brighter future through our many youth programs. In my football career I became known for hitting hard. However, I have learned that life can hit us harder. We work diligently with our sponsors who have claimed success to reach back and throw the rope to the youthful. We educate, empower and embolden them to rise up when knocked down and reach for dreams they may have stopped dreaming.
