COHESU is a Non-Governmental organisation registered in 2001 under Kenya’s NGO Co-ordination Board. Through research, mobilisation of resources, training in formal and informal settings and translating basic research into operational strategies, COHESU works with communities towards prioritising health needs and identifying workable and sustainable solutions. Working with global partners and community-based organisations, COHESU hopes to make a strong contribution towards sustainable health priorities in diverse communities by tackling major tropical diseases, extreme hunger and poverty, gender equality, and child and maternal mortality.
