University of Alma Ata (UAA) is one of the most rapid-growing University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The University focuses on the three pillars of national prosperity: health, education, economics. The secondary University focus is to ensure that information technology into all areas of the curriculum as it has become crucial in the era of globalization. Initially formed as Institute of Health Science (STIKES Alma Ata) in 2006, University of Alma Ata established the Institute of Islamic Studies (STIA Alma Ata) in 2007 which officially marked the beginning University's history. UAA officially became Universiy in 2015 with five faculties and seventeen program studies.
