ingenioer.au.dkAU Engineering is anchored in the four engineering departments at Aarhus University: Department of Biological and Chemical Engineering (bce.au.dk), Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering (cae.au.dk), Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ece.au.dk), and Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering (mpe.au.dk). AU Engineering develops innovative and sustainable solutions to some of the major challenges facing humanity through the classical engineering disciplines: Architectural Engineering, Biological Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Most of the research activities are conducted in close cooperation with industry and applied within four interdisciplinary technology themes: Sustainable Energy, Healthcare, Agriculture and Manufacturing Furthermore, AU Engineering has a strong focus on technology domains such as Computing and Machine Intelligence, Advanced Materials and Industrial Biotechnology – all of which have a dramatically increasing economical and societal impact on Denmark.
