Officially named the Stark, Tuscarawas, Wayne Joint Solid Waste Management District We are a collaboration of three counties in Ohio with a joint board overseeing solid waste management within our District. Our Board of Directors includes the County Commissioners from each of the counties. Our mission is to assure safe and sanitary disposal of solid waste for district residents and to reduce reusable or renewable wastes from entering landfills within the District. We develop residential and industrial programs to educate, promote, provide, implement and improve recycling opportunities, preserving landfill space now and into the future.
