Queensland Pacific Metals Limited is seeking to develop a modern battery metals refinery in Townsville's Landsdowne Industrial Precinct. The company has binding contracts in place for the supply of high grade laterite ore from New Caledonia, with the refinery expected to produce nickel sulphate and cobalt sulphate for use in lithium ion battery production plus other valuable co-products. Management has extensive experience in nickel laterite and in dealing with off-take partners for nickel and cobalt products.
