The University of Exeter Economic Society's aim is to give students who wish to experience - or extend their knowledge of - economics a society which provides a forum for discourse and debate. Our core values: We want to bring like-minded Economics Students together to establish a society where we share our passion, love and interest for Economics and themes related to Economics. Our mission: “We’re a bonding, friendly, hard-working, sociable, aspiring and opportunistic crew of students who care for what we think, do, and believe in collaborating together to enjoy, learn and discover Economic thoughts and matters”. Why we exist: We want to learn, hear, debate, discuss and explore themes that can help us alongside our studies of Economics for a greater understanding of the subject and topics we study. What we do: ● Host events for social networking, learning and discussion. ● Drinks and debate sessions. ● Form a community of students who all share similarities in studying Economics. ● Host internal and external guest speakers. ● Introduce and connect students and alumni through the Exenomics programme. ● Represent the Business School’s Economics department at major fairs and University events. ● Act as a hub for integration, collaboration and intelligence sharing for all economic students.
