The Light Inside
www.thelightinside.usThe Light Inside is a journalistic podcast exploring the journey of everyday people towards beneficial change in their behavioral patterns. These shifts in behavior empowering them to live richer, happier, and more creative lives. Using science and storytelling, the content of our program targets key behavioral patterns we all experience throughout daily life. Through our content messaging, we can uncover the subconscious patterns that drive our behaviors, influence our choices, and guide our relationships. The themes we present for discussion are approached from a perspective of scholarly scientific research to support sound methodology. Research has shown we often hold an over-reliance on narrative details and assumptions about cause-and-effect explanations for our behavioral patterns. This can lead to cognitive biases and errors in judgment when functionally assessing our actions and behaviors. In the process, this leads us to effectively question and assess everything from how our brain forms our beliefs to the reason we have certain patterns in our life. Many of these questions we have pondered ourselves; which led us to conclude - that the only way to change our behaviors is by creating systems and processes that effectively shift our actions. In short, many of the constructs we form about our behaviors - are simply falsely conditioned beliefs or motivated thinking. Diving into the behaviors and the patterns which create them, we take a deeper look into the story of why we do the things we do. Although these behaviors are commonplace, we're often unsure as to why we seem to engage in them on a constant basis. Business topics are generally outside our scope.
