The Birmingham Contemporary Art Gallery is the newest art gallery to grace Birmingham's arts community. Situated in a tranquil and well sought after location on the Arena Birmingham complex and with 1600 square feet of space overlooking the picturesque Brindley Place canal, the gallery is ideal for encouraging a diverse approach to creativity and other innovative ideas. We are also a hub for artists, art enthusiasts, working professionals and members of the local community to meet and connect. Part of our mission is to make our gallery more accessible to local, regional and national artists who would like a more direct and simple way to interact with art galleries, art buyers and the general public. We are interested in representing, promoting and exhibiting affordable and unique art from not just established, but also emerging artists, while addressing the full range of artistic media. Another big part of our vision is to provide innovative ways to use art as a vehicle for mental health and overall wellbeing awareness. We have a small but qualified team of experienced art therapists, artists and other professionals with whom we are able to offer a series of dedicated workshops and programmes to support businesses, groups and individuals who may need help around team building, workplace stress, depression, anxiety and other mental health related issues. This unique space is also perfect for hosting a wide range of events, from exhibitions, product launches, workshops and book openings, to business meetings, networking events, community events, yoga classes, private functions and much more.
