The Sigma Chi Leadership Institute crafts experiences designed to assist organizations and individuals in the development of Self with the purpose of enabling them to lead Others to Action for the betterment of Community. Founded in 2007, the Leadership Institute is comprised of a diverse group of higher-education professionals, entrepreneurs, researchers and educators — leaders and innovators who believe in the power of Transformational Leadership: the practice by which leaders inspire and empower others to innovate and create positive and lasting change. We are committed to offering values-based curricula designed to assist others in becoming transformational leaders, equipped to meet whatever leadership challenge they encounter. Currently licensed as a 501 (c)(3) state-authorized educational institution within the Private Business and Vocational Schools Division of the Illinois Board of Higher Education, our vision is to achieve regional accreditation. The mission of the Sigma Chi Leadership Institute (SCLI) is to provide high-quality leadership training that complements and enhances the career skills of our students, expanding their capacity to serve as leaders in any industry.
