Gateway to Entrepreneurial Tomorrows (GET) is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization that promotes economic development from the bottom up in the under-served urban and rural areas in the Mid-Hudson Valley region of New York State. GET's free services: business consultations, workshops, micro- loan programs, and other services help women, minorities, and low-income individuals to start their own businesses. During GET's 10 years of operation, we have produced a 75:1 return on investment, contributed to $98 million of economic impact in the local communities, and worked on over 850 projects. In our support of local entrepreneurs, we are proud to report that 2 out of every 3 start-ups that work with us are still in business after 2 years. Through the combination of supporting local entrepreneurs and embarking on community development projects, we hope to continue to promote equal access to economic resources and possibilities while also contributing to the economic prosperity of our region.
