Katie's Art Project was founded by Broadway Performer and Choreographer, Stephanie Klemons, to honor the memory of her friend Katie who passed away from leukemia at age 19. Katie left behind an incredible legacy of artwork that helped keep her memory alive in the hearts or her friends and family. Katie's Art Project creates lasting legacies by connecting children facing life-threatening illnesses with emerging and established artists through collaborative programs, such as; Music is Medicine, Art is Medicine, Dance is Medicine, and Design is Medicine.
