Cyanic Clothing is a social enterprise with the aim of bridging fashion and true social impact together. Cyanic features unique designs that capture the pride of Toronto, with the goal of expanding nationally and eventually featuring other Canadian cities. At Cyanic, our 3 areas of focus are: I) Superior Design - Each garment is manufactured by North American standards, with designs exclusive to Cyanic. II) Social Impact - We have partnered with a local charity, Lady Ballers Camp, where proceeds of each sale go towards the physical and emotional development of young girls from lower-income areas in the Greater Toronto Area. However, our long term Social Impact vision is to first identify the social needs Canadians prioritize, and second, partner with a diverse range of local charities in those selected spaces. As Cyanic grows, and we expand our partnerships with these charities, our customers will have the opportunity to select the type of impact they would like to support. We believe that our customers should have the option of supporting a charity they feel personally connected to, and we will deliver that – in addition to receiving high-quality clothes. III) Sustainability - We acknowledge and understand the lack of ethical manufacturing within the fashion industry. Our commitment is not just to bridge trendy designs with social impact, but sustainability is also a top priority. We take pride that all our manufacturing is 100% sweatshop free and locally manufactured. Ethical manufacturing and ‘trendy clothing’ should go hand in hand, and we are committed to setting a standard of sustainability within Canadian fashion.
