There are gaps between the needs of people and of the planet.  There are gaps between what people know to do and what people know how to do.  There are gaps in our wanting to flourish in a resiliently sustainable world and our actual flourishing. At the Impact Trust, we identify these gaps and we work responsively, collaboratively and innovatively in an endeavour to bridge them. We are a north-south social research, advocacy and programme design organisation committed to promoting purposeful collective action in support of sustainable development at institutional, community or government level. We seek to respond to gaps in policy and practice and promote the multiple literacies that are needed to navigate the transformation needed for flourishing lives. As an incubator for social change we have a track record of venture creation and a willingness to be "in the arena".
