The Irish Music School of Chicago preserves, honors and promotes the cultural traditions of music, dance, language and song from Ireland and its diaspora with a special focus on the unique contributions of Chicago-based immigrants and their descendants and ancestors. Passing these rich traditions from generation to generation through education, performance, and community outreach, we foster a connection between all Chicagoans, regardless of ethnic heritage, and the Irish community at large through a lifelong appreciation of these cultural expressions.
